We stayed in Stable Cottage, one of three cottages in a modern L-shaped block next to the owners' house. The cottage sleeps up to four. It was originally designed for wheelchair users, though the furniture might need a bit of rearranging to allow easy access. It's on one side of the wide Spey valley with extensive walking country right outside the house and easy car access to the hill and mountain areas around.
The rooms are a shower room/toilet, and a kitchen/living room with a small bedroom (not designed for wheelchair use) opening off it. There's a double bunk in the bedroom and two comfortable beds in the living room, one a pull-out under the other. From the living room you can see the Monadhlieth hills. The kitchen is well equipped, though the noise of the fridge might disturb a light sleeper. There's a TV (four channels) but no DVD or video - not that we minded. The owners are friendly and considerate.
