Set amid stunning scenery, Crubenbeg House is a relaxing haven, ideally located for the many activities here in the Highlands of Scotland. Delightful, spacious bedrooms, a splendid lounge with crackling fire & fine wines, beers & malts all combine with a warm welcome to ensure that you enjoy your stay to the full. Lastly, our breakfasts. Home-baked bread, our own free-range eggs, kippers, local sausage, haggis & black pudding. Mmm! more » « less

We booked via the internet and finalized arrangements by phone. When we arrived the drive up to the property was beautiful over a river and through fields. All was so pretty and well maintained, we got such a nice surprise we couldnt wait to see the room. We were given a tour and shown the dinning room and our room.... more

My husband & I stayed at Crubenbeg House in April 2008 and were warmly welcomed by the owners, John & Irene & their wonderful dog - Rajah. We stayed in a generous sized room (the Stag) which included a fantastic view, four-poster bed and ensuite shower & bath. The House is centrally located and great for exploring the area. The... more

We stayed in the Douglas Fir cottage at the Crubenbeg Holiday Cottages, near Dalwinnie. A real pleasure, well appointed with all working facilities, completely as described . Sian and Cameron are very pleasant and happy to help. The location is beautiful, walks beside the Falls of Truim and up onto the hills behind, a wealth of wildlife. Perfect location for... more

I stayed here when walking across Scotland with a heavy rucksack. We arrived hot, dirty and rather tired and were given a really warm welcome. We had our own little suite downstairs (the disabled facilities - though we would have (just0 been able to walk up the stairs). Staying at Crubenbeg House was like staying with friends. The room was... more

I stayed here with my wife and son during July 2007. The accommodation was excellent and although we didn't have our own bathroom in our room, we were provided with bathrobes and has sole use of a shower-room/toilet across the landing. The cleanliness of the room, toilet and public rooms were fantastic. The setting is second to none as is... more

My wife and I stayed in the four-poster room here, and loved the quality decor, comfort, view and relaxing atmosphere. Bed and bathroom were flawless. The attention to detail is excellent. John and Irene do everything possible to make you welcome, and are a mine of info. regarding things to do and where to eat. The breakfast was first class... more

We stayed at CRUBENBEG HOUSE for three nights in early August. The location is beautiful, quiet and relaxing and the house itself, exquisite - with all the little added extras which truly make this home from home. The warmth and friendliness extended to us by John and Irene was afforded to us at the start, and we were welcome throughout... more

I spent one night in this house with seven friends. We got the whole house because they have only four rooms (1 double bed and three twin bed). The hospitality and kindness were exquisite. John and Irene (the owners of the house) were great. Even only for a day, we feel as comfortable as in home. We had a laugh... more
