Coig Na Shee was more wonderful than I could have imagined. Cozy, spacious, clean and comfortable. with a very generous offering of shortbread, tea, and coffee. Marion and Graeme were outstanding hosts. Very willing to converse and offer suggestions but not at all intrusive. Breakfasts were awesomely good. We stayed three nights and could have easily stayed a week or... more

Two couples stayed for one night at Coig na Shee on the way north from Edinburgh to Inverness. We were so pleased to find this outstanding Guest House with all it's amenities. It is obvious that the owners really care and have left nothing to chance when it comes to comfort. The linens, decor, spacious rooms, and breakfast are all... more

This was a chance find, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff at the Ralia Café, which is just off the A9 near Newtonmore and is well worth calling in for a snack or to sample their vast range of whisky miniatures. Coig na Shee immediately welcomes the weary traveller both physically and spiritually. Its owners have pulled out all... more

This is a beautiful building and the friendly owners have provided many nice touches frequently missing from hotels charging more than twice as much. We stayed in the Firs room, which was spacious, nicely furnished and spotless. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with plenty of room for a bath and separate shower. Nice touches... more

What can we say, lovely hosts and lovely rooms. Breakfast rocked and stay was fantastic. Clean spacious rooms, lovely view, good bathrooms, crucial after walking the glens. DVD player in room and lovely biscuits (the lemon and white chocolate ones were fab!) Good value for money Definitely recommend and will go back if in area. more

This was a wonderful little hotel/b&b on the edge of Newtonmore set in a beautiful location with stunning views from the rooms and dining room. The owners couldnt have been more helpful or friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in if you are visiting the highlands. We hope to be back... more
