I had one night there. A true Oasis, in an accommodation desert. There are very few places on the EHW, at Laggen bridge, but what can I say! I can only say. Excellent! Fiona was just the best host ever, and could not have been more helpful. I would recommend, The Rumblie, to any weary traveller.

Thank you so much for your review. It was my pleasure to welcome you to The Rumblie and offer you food and accommodation especially after your cold night of wild camping the night before. Hope your blisters have healed up and that you enjoyed your stay in Newtonmore and weekend in the Cairngorms. Should you decide to re-visit the East... More

It seems like an age ago since we spent the second night of our honeymoon at the Rumblie. Given the chance to head up north on the bike, we knew we had to go back. I'm so utterly glad we did as once again, it was perfect. The owners are perfect hosts, full of good ideas and genuinely can't seem... More

I had booked for 2 nights here (after reading the glowing reviews) while walking the East Highland Way - was collected from my first stopping point @ Moy Bridge & dropped off to continue next day - a service I did not expect. My room was a dream - 'welcome' treats abounded - everything needed was supplied (& more!) -... More

We stayed here after a long day (20 miles of walking - the most challenging day of the East Highland Way). What a pleasant surprise to find such first class accomodation upon arrival! We had booked dinner in advance (having read all the raving reviews), and Simon and Fiona had kindly taken the initiative to serve dinner a little later... More

loved this place, food was amazing and Simon And Fiona were excellent hosts. The bathroom was what you would find in a 5 star hotel..We loved breakfast, evening meals are available on request which we thoroughly enjoyed. Local produce mostly out of the garden including eggs from the hens roaming around. This is a good base to visit the Cairngorms.and would... More

Absolutely loved this place! Echo everything said above and add that Simon and Fiona the owners could not do enough for us, I arrived ultra early due to blistered feet and was made comfortable in the lounge with tea while my room got ready. Everything but everything is catered for here - use of washing machine, drying room, fresh milk... More

Stayed here for one noght on 10th May 2012. Taken me a wee while to get round to review! But this was a first rate B&B. Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped bedroom with stunning en-suite bathroom. Perfect for some quiet relaxation. Breakfast was excellent too.

After a punishing day riding the Correyaireck pass I needed acomfortable bed and something to eat.Fortunately our tour operator had booked us into The Rumblie. After a friendly but not over the top welcome from Simon and the opportunity to clean our bikes we were shown to our rooms. To say we were surprised was an undertsatement. Its the oly... More

We found this place by accident (courtesy of SMARTBOX) and were lucky enough to secure a booking. To be honest you'd probably pass by without giving the place a second thought, but once inside it was clearly evident why all the previous reviews raved about the place. Simon & Fiona are 'Green' enthusiasts and recyclables and organic food are a... More

the exterior does not do justice to the friendly welcome and lovely interior to be experienced here, although the grey dull weather probably didnt help. the attention to detail for the rooms is superb, the cleanliness is excellent, with the facilities in the rooms as good as many five star hotels. the food was fabulous although not too sure about...
