I went here in June and returned in September when I got the opportunity for an unexpected break from work. Loved everything about the place. The cottages are well kept, have everything you possible need and the location is stunning. It is an ideal base for the highlands with Aviemore less than 20 minutes away and Inverness no more than... Our group of 4 (+ 2 dogs) enjoyed the most fabulous winter week here. The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped...the owners friendly and helpful yet unintrusive. The little loch out the back finished our view off perfectly! We had a little explore out the back and up the hill...and there was lots to see, beautiful views and interesting... More

Crubenbeg Cottages are really first class. Superbly equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated and furnished with a wood burning stove. They also are ideal for dogs! These cottages are worth a big detour, we've stayed in many that are just a tad scruffy and tired and furnished on the cheap. Host couldn't have been more helpful Ideal for Scottish Highlands with Aviemore 30... More

The location is a dream for anyone wanting a weekend getaway, time to get back to nature or a home base to explore the highlands. The Ash cottage was clean, cozy and quiet. Having a kitchen and all the comforts of home is fantastic! The wood stove is an added bonus. We'd definitely stay again. More

We stayed for a week at the Highland Holiday Cottages. The children loved the cottage which was very cosy, but well equipped and with enough room for them to rush around. The enclosed rear garden was safe and it was great having a duckpond on your doorstep. The scenery around the cottages is beautiful and the location near the A9... More

We had five days in the pleasant converted farm buildings at Crubenbeg. It's an excellent location to explore the Highlands, we ventured to Skye, and Loch Ness on our visit and neither seemed too far to drive. Although that said being located near to the A9 the noise can be noticeable at certain times of the day. The thing that... More

Perfect location to explore the Cairn Gorms and surrounding areas. We stayed in the Cedar which had everything we needed including the best thing for those breezy days - a real wood burner. More

The location - wow, you couldn't ask for better. Sian & Cameron were great - very helpful and friendly. We could not fault the place at all - will definitely be... More

We travelled here on the 29th April for a 3 night break with our black lab Mollie. We had fantastic weather and it was great to sit in the back garden with the dog and get away from it all. The cottages are lovely and have everything you need with plenty of space for your luggage and gear. Great to... More
