Had a four nights' stay and we didn't want to leave. Lovely room but especially lovely hosts. Excellent breakfast - 'miss the homemade banana cake !! 'Will certainly go back and would highly recommend it to visitors to this area. more

We chose to stay here because of the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and it didn't disappoint. This is an immaculate and luxurious guest house. Fancy a B&B having electric gates at the entrance! Mike and Jacquie gave us a very warm welcome. We stayed in a large, beautiful room with a 4-poster bed and, the en-suite had a roll-top bath... more

I was a bit sceptical about staying in a bed and breakfast as I didn't want to feel like I was staying in someone's spare room. A night in this place dispelled that and I wished I was staying longer. The owners were very friendly, and made me feel at home, without being over attentive. It was evident that a... more

It was a very rushed trip to take advantage of the skiing. I was impressed by the service provided, the enthusiasm and friendliness of the owners. They were both extremely helpful & personable and that to me is the strongest selling point of this more high-end newly renovated B&B, ie. the fact that you can get a certain level of... more

Just back from a lovely overnight stay at this exceptional place. There was nothing else that could have been done to make our stay more pleasant - unless we had found a jackpot winning lottery ticket under the bed, although I suppose that is taking the 5 star thing a little too far. Everything about our stay was excellent, Mike... more

Booked this accomodation as a part of a celebration trip for my wife's birthday. Location was great, the welcome was fantastic. For an evening meal the recommendation of a local restraurant was the icing on the cake. Facilities in the room was beyond expectations and the attention to detail was taken through to whole experience. Breakfast set us up well... more

Mike and Jaquie our hosts were fantastic and have worked hard to earn Ard-na-Coille its 5 star rating. Our room had a four poster bed and everything you might expect from a 5 star hotel and... more

We have just returned from a delightful 3 day trip to the Scottish Highlands. Our hosts Jaquie and Mike went out of their way to make us feel welcome at their beautifully refurbished B & B. This was luxury accommodation at its best. The guesthouse - a former hunting lodge - is set in the scenic location of the Cairngorm... more
