Stayed for five nights to recover from our vist to Toronto and Niagara Falls and what a good choice it turned out to be. The loacation is idyllic, approached via a long unmade road and ending on the shores of a quiet bay of Rice Lake. The silence is only disturbed
by the sound of the birds singing and the hummingbirds visiting the feeder on the guests deck There is a very comfortable guest lounge as well as a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave and a barbecue on the decking overlooking the lake.This provided a welcome opportunity for us to cook for ourselves rather than hunting out restaurants. Jan and Barrie, our hosts made us feel very welcome and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Jans breakfasts were plentiful, delicious and more than enough to set us up for the day. We were able to fish from the dock and absorb the tranquility of the surroundings.Highly recommended to peace lovers who enjoy all the comforts of home. more
