i have just returned from a trip to cameroon where i stayed at the savoy palmxz hotel in limbe. this is a magnificent hotel with top notch services and amenities.

the staff was very professional and friendly. i was escorted to my room and a/c, tv etc adjusted to my comfort. the hotel offered several unique services.. an indoor pool/club with a huge screen tv, a roof top bar/restaurant where i ate most meals al fresco, a movie theater, a fully equiped fitness center with a certified trainer on staff, wireless, high speed internet service, etc, etc, the options were endless. there was never a bored or idle moment. friday evenings at the city grill (roof top) guests are served a complimentary meal of grilled fish, beef kebab (they're called soya) and other local favorites while listening to live music.
the town of limbe lies at the foot of the cameroon mountain, the largest mountain in west africa and during my trip i was privileged to witness the mount cameroon climbing... more
