Unawatuna Beach Bungalows are situated a stone's throw from the beach - 30 seconds walk to golden sand and a warm, blue ocean. Sarath and his family made us very welcome. We stayed in Unawatuna for 9 nights and stayed in several places but the Beach Bungalow was by far our favourite!! The Unawatuna Beach Bungalow is NOT to be confused with the Unawatuna Beach Resort, as it seems several reviewers have done. This is a medium-sized guest house located right next door to the resort but with ten times the charm! We have stayed here four times over the years, and it is our favourite place to stay in Unawatuna for many reasons. Firstly is the friendliness of the family that run the UBB. Sarath is very helpful and always cooks a wonderful breakfast to start the day. Titral an Lal are always on hand to offer good advice for travelling... more

I stayed at the Unawatuna Beach Bungalow Guest House for a week. It"s a great little place set in the middle of Unawatuna beach just 30 seconds from the beach.
