Point de Galle is a family resort.

The advantages are:
- Great Suites (living-room, sleeping-room, balcony, bathroom)
- Lovely staff
- Very nice garden with a protected, safe natural pool (not deep but you can swimm) in the see
- Coral reef at the outside of that pool where you can see corals and coral fishes
- excellent food (needs to be ordered in advance) and nice Restaurant
- Safety people arround the clock, closed resort.

Disadvantage:
- Matara railway and road next to the Hotel
- not a cheap place
- need a tuctuc, car or taxi to move away if you do not want to use public transportation. more
