My son had been here in 2007 along with his cousin. My nephew raved about it, calling it a "Viking Palace". While he may have missed the mark in terms of ethnicity, he was spot on in describing the Jagd as outstanding. We were here for two nights in December, complete with all the decorations and senses of the season.... more

We stayed here for February 1/2 term 2008 with our 2 children aged 7 and 10 and also with the grandparents. We were here in a short holiday in late april for skiing.The Gletcher ski area is excelent,with long slopes and medium difficulty,excelent rental and depo conditions.Snow was excelent.The only complain is that they do not prepare the slopes perfect,like in other parts of tyrol. Stayed at the Jagdhof for a one-week ski trip in February 2007 with the entire family (mom, dad, 2 girls aged 12 and 4, plus our au pair). The interior of the hotel is beautiful (common areas, restaurants, rooms, spa/pool).
