Hotel Grabovac is a very spare hotel with a camp-like feeling in the middle of the Plitvice Lakes region. While not inside the park itself, the lakes are easily accessible from this hotel. The hotel is Motel Six plain I’d rate it 2 Star, 69 euros double with breakfast (10/08). Maybe a better choice are rooms in private homes with maybe a balcony and view for $15 per person. From the parking lot you drag your bags up one flight of stairs, past an ATM machine to the lobby. The good news is... more

LOCATION: Good, not great. Not in the park but about a 10 minute drive to the first entrance. Quiet location. BED/SHEETS/PILLOW: Comfortable bed but nothing special. Sheets and pillow were average. LIGHTING: Lighting in bedroom was a little dark, bathroom was fine. BATHROOM/SHOWER: Very basic, great water pressure and temperature. TOILETRIES: Soap Dispenser in shower , nothing special.
