I had four wonderful nights at Cap de Castel in October and look forward to another charming week in November. It's very rare you get to stay at such a delightful hotel while on business. Don't get me wrong, this hotel is very much for your leisure holiday but with free wifi and somewhere to put your laptop then it... More

We stayed here for 2 nights to take part at the wedding ceremony in the south of France. We drove to Cap de Castel from Barcelona. The trip to Cap de Castel was very nice through the beautiful countryside. The hotel is very well located on top of a hill, with a great view and with excellent swimming pool. We... More

We recently stayed at Cap Castel and expectations were exceeded in every way. David Henry the owner is has capsulated the best factors of this property by providing luxury size rooms with quality furnishings and refined services in a historic setting. The hotel is wonderfully located on top of a hill with glorious views conveniently placed between the major attractions... More

This is a really sweet, small hotel in an ancient, rather quiet hilltop town. The owner, David Henry, is charming and very helpful. He has taken great care with the restoration and decoration of an interesting old manorhouse and the result is attractive and most comfortable. Our room overlooked the Black Mountain and distant Pyrenees. Since the restaurant is closed... More

Stayed here for 1 night on part of motorcycle tour of France and Spain. Food was fantastic which is just as well as location is quite remote. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Excellent swimming pool with nice views of countryside. I wish we stayed here longer. More

Even after reading many Tripadvisor reviews I didn't know what to expect; the hotel and its staff exceeded our expectations by some margin, even after staying at good hotels and Chambres d'hôtes in France, so much so that it was hard to leave. Do yourself a favor and book at least three days here, there's a lot to see nearby,... More

Stayed at Cap de Castel end of June for a couple of nights, being in the hotel industry and reading all the great reviews, I really thought it would be hard for them to live up to their reputation, but I was wrong. Cap de Castel is a lovely small hotel, David the owner and his sister are great hosts.... More

We stayed for five days in July 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and personal. Our room had a beautiful view and was very clean and attractive. We really enjoyed the attention to detail, such as the Occitane products. We would definitely return. We ate at the restaurant three times and the food was very good. More
