You are minutes from all the major tourist sights and ski slopes around the Garmisch area. Minutes from all the ski slopes and tourist destinations in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area. Staff is wonderful and will cater to your needs. Breakfast and afternoon cake/coffee are included with the price. More importantly, they are very animal friendly. The only downside is that they do not serve dinner, but there are plenty of places nearby.

We spent one night here recently and would recommend it as a base for day trips to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Ettal, Oberammergau, and the nearby castles of King Ludwig. Stayed in the Foehrenhof for one night on business. The hotel is a classic Alpine lodge in the middle of the Alps along the north side of the Austrian border.
