This is a 70s large hotel, very well located, abandoned during the 80s and 90s, renovated and reopened recently.
Unfortunately the renovation was only partial. E.g. new elevator with very old doors, new doors in rooms with old frames.
Hotel location is very good by the sea and the main road.
Rooms are small with new but basic furniture and very small renovated bathrooms.
Hotel offers, a bar, a restaurant, an indoor and outdoor pool, beach facilities etc. but nothing works. There is a mix of old and new in every corner that cancels all facilities.
We thought that breakfast was included in the low, 63 euros, price. The restaurant was dissapointing albeit its excellent location. Breakfast was sparse and of doubtful quality, so we had only coffee, did not touch anything else.
On check out we were charged 10 euros per person for breakfast - a rip off. You'd better go to the bakery next to the hotel for a breakfast with less than half this money.

We were invited to a christening close to Kammena Vourla and although our friends had recommened the Galini Palace, we thought we'd try something slightly cheaper and right by the sea. The rate of 90 euro for a double room per night made us believe that we would stay at a very decent three star hotel. We could not have been more wrong.
The first impression upon entering the receiption was fair enough, although the receptionist seemed very uninterested in his work, even if there did not seem to be many guests around. We were given a room at the second floor, and were told that they did not have a baby cot for our ten months old baby. We imagined he could sleep in our double bed, but when entering the room, we quickly realised that the double bed was in fact only a one-and-a-half type, which hardly fits two grown-ups.
