I've just came back from a wonderful one week holidays in Pythagorio, Samos. I stayed at the Zephyros hotel, a nice family run hotel in the harbour, 5 mins walking from the ferry and in the heart of Pythagorio. The hotel is just on the harbour promenade and the terrace is 5 meters from the sea! The room was very clean, with a nice balcony facing the La Bito hotel and could see a little bit of the sea from my balcony. The klima system works non-stop. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, fresh bread every morning (when woke up ealier the bread was still warm), butter, cheese, ham, salami, coffee, tea,milk, yoghurt, etc and is taken on the terrace facing the beautiful sea.
From the terrace there's a splendid view on the harbour and the city. In the evening/night can enjoy a glass of the famous Samos wine while admiring the landscape (the dry white wine, called Samena Gold is absolutely fantastic). It was my first time to Samos and I only stayed... more
