We ate at Brogan's and the food was better than expected for pub food. Cozy little place in the heart of town. Easy to walk to Trim Castle Hotel. Can't speak for the rooms but the food was better than Brazen Head's in Dublin.... MUCH better (and less expensive). more

Would not recomend this Hotel if you got it for nothing...we booked for one night after attending a wedding and ended up having to sleep in our car as we couldn't gain access to the Hotel. When we complained the owner couldn't have cared less....only got our refund when asked for it, and that was less deposit........... more

We loved Trim, Ireland - we loved BROGAN'S! Staff was unbelievably helpful - we arrived very early but they went ahead & got our rooms ready & let us go in. When my sister called from the U.S., they always went to find us or took great messages. When the whole town's internet was down (small town, small ISP), they... more

We stayed one night at this friendly and comfortable inn. First, the rooms. They were pretty small but comfortable and included a tea/coffee setup. The standouts at the inn are the pub and their restaurant. The day we arrived there was a big rugby game on so the pub was full of locals. It was great having a pint and... more

Everyone at Brogan's was very nice, and the room was fine for the low price we paid. The inn itself and it's layout is absolutely charming. The skylight was a bit bright, as someone else mentioned, but of course we were jet-lagged and trying to sleep midday. My biggest beef with the place was the noise, which was either from... more

Rooms and pub just average. Light was the biggest problem. Lights from the courtyard lite up the room, but the worst was the skylight with no shade. more

Brogan's was an easy walk from Trim Castle and the other ruins of Trim, was right by the shopping in Trim, and best of all was above a great Irish pub owned by the owners of the guesthouse. To give you an idea of the authenticity of the pub, we were there on Christmas Eve's eve and when we came... more

VERY highly recommended - stayed here during a golf trip from England. Absolutely perfect place to stay to get a bit of the real Ireland, with comfort. Self contained Bar/ Pub, restaurant (much better than you could ever expect, both setting and the food) & excellent entertainment (Gerry Tully - singer/ guitar player) This is a 10 out of 10... more
