The waterfront location is excellent for taking the ferries and breakfast overlooking the waterfront. Rooms are immaculate, large and have wonderful views of Lake Como/Ballagio if upgraded. Excellent value. Very clean. Right on the sea. Train is close. BUT: Food is not good and so not what you would expect in Italy. So super recommended for accomodations but dont waste your money on their food.

we had a great time, good weather and the restaurant crew extremely attentive. Th ehotel is clean and offers good value for the money (end of May). Location is convenient, took many trips by train every day to interesting destinations.
