If you travel with train is great location, 10 min from the station in poggibinsi and 15 with train from siena. The room was great, clean and tidy with a view and the breakfast was good. Also, the town is small and charming for a dinner and a walk. I would definately recommend it! more

Having diffculty finding a place to stay in Siena due to upcoming palio we decided to search outside town boundaries and finally came across Toscana ambassador in Poggibonsi (32 kilometres from Siena). Toscana Ambassador is one of the best accomodations in Tuscany for the value price! The location of the hotel is perfect bordering on the Chianti region and a short drive to Siena and Florence! The service is deplorable, the staff act as if they do you a favour by talking to you, the food is disgusting and the coffee tastes like crude oil. The wine tastes like vinegar and if you dare ask for a soft drink the staff make little sucking noises and act shocked as if you just asked for a night... more
