We stayed in Italgest in one of the Trend mobile homes, which can accommodate 7, but more comfortably 5. There is also a hedge-fringed garden with recliners and table/chairs with each Trend.

Cost is about 58 euro per night in June.

Situated with direct access to the huge Lake Trasimeno, there was a great sunset every evening we were there.

Centre of attractions is a great swimming pool with slides. THere is also a restaurant, bar, tennis courts, basketball, large screen viewing lounge.

It's a four star holiday village and really tries to keep all operating smoothly.

The staff were superb, but what else would one expect from Italians?

Nearby are Assisi, Perugia, Orvieto, Gubbio. Local bus serivce is very good but a rented car is probably best. Good restaurants nearby, too. more
