Was disappointed with my stay.
It is a beautiful village and expected olde worlde proper English pub stay.
Room was ok, but bland. The bathroom was dirty - actual large furry mould on shower head. Bedding and rest of room did seem clean. Smokey odour everywhere.
Breakfast was good.
Man who checked us in was very nice, but never saw him again. Rest of staff were a little odd and could certainly have been friendlier.
Not good value for money considering it was £175 for two nights - very basic for that money. more
