As a solo female business traveller I choose my hotels very carefully. I can't do better than choose this one for my travels to Manchester. The style is very home from home with the most friendly staff, comfortable accomodation and fantastic food. An all round great place to stay for anyone - highly recommended thanks to the hard work of... More

£80 B&B for executive room which has a large bed. Not cheap, but attending event at The Broadoak, so factoring in cost of taxis if we stayed elsewhere, not so bad. Spacious room, tea and coffee facilities, good size bathroom with shower. Blankets, rather than duvet. Breakfast cooked to order and was as requested - crispy bacon - worthy of... More

The Broadoak looked from the outside a lovely place to visit, how wrong can you be!! As a group of 8 we booked a table for a family birthday, food was cold, service was was awful. The Beer (Robinsons) was horrendously overpriced and not particularly good. Complained to the landlord, who was just sat drinking at the end of the... More

We were visiting the area to attend a birthday party and were booked into the Broadacre hotel by another hotel that had double booked, and didn't have our room available. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Broadacre a welcoming traditional hotel with friendly staff who were expecting us. Our bedroom was a good size and along with the bathroom... More

My family & I stay regularly at The Broadoak whenever we are visiting relatives in the area. On this occasion, following the death of a much loved uncle, it was necessary for me to stay for several nights. Whilst our previous visits have always been very pleasant, this occasion was only made bearable by the help & assistance of the... More

My stay was only for one night and was for family reasons. My room and bathroom were well appointed and clean and had everything that I needed. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I had thought that the location might be noisy but this proved not to be the case. I had considered staying in a... More

We needed a comfortable place to stay for the weekend while visiting my partners daughter. This Hotel is really an Inn/Tavern and was exactly what we wanted,as we enjoyed the personal hospitality of the proprietor and staff in the restaurant and bar. Highly recommended.
