We, a group of twelve golfers, recently stayed at the Martin Lane Farmhouses run by Elaine and Alan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Elaine & Alan were very friendly and helpful allowing us to use the cottages as we saw fit. Just got back from our stay in the Granary with my partner & two boys (11 & 8). Fantastic place, lots to see & do in the area for all ages & tastes, we've had such a wonderful time we are going back again at the end of the month! We would definately recommend these holiday cottages to anyone looking... more
Very nice self-catering accommodation. A bit way out, but very central to what we wanted to do - i.e. general sightseeing in the area and bird watching in particularl Would certainly use again. more
We had a lovely week staying near to Southport where my parents live. The accommodation was superb and well thought out and maintained - the owners were welcoming and friendly - we would thoroughly recommend a stay here. It is a very peaceful location - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the countryside. more
We are only just back from our visit to Martin lane cottages and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves especially our 2 year old son. It was lovely and peaceful, beautiful big garden for him to run around in and animals for him to go visit.
