Longlands is a nice hotel, I was given a smallish room but for one person it was nice with a kingsize framed bed with excellent bedding and an obviously fairly new bathroom, the room was clean and the bed is the best I have slept in away from home.

They did seem to have been a little overwhelmed by customers and although I went to eat in the bar just after 5.30pm I was told they had put a hold on meal orders as there were a lot of people in the restaurant, I was a little concerned as I had to leave to go to a presentation, but the food arrived shortly after I had placed my order and was of a high standard.

I was a little disappointed as the website had said they provided real tea and coffee witha picture of a caffettiera on the bed but there were a couple of nice chocolate cookies in the jar , not a big issue but would have made a nice change to packets of Nescafe which were on the tray.
