Stayed here for two nights, the rooms are very average, but the rest of the package makes up for this in our eyes! Must say we couldn't have been made more welcome, the manager even made special provision for us to have an extra early breakfast sitting to accomodate our early start. Also the carvery at the weekend is superb,... more

I had the misfortune to be booked into this hotel by my firm whilst on a course, I arrived at the hotel at ten o'clock at night after a hard day's work and a three hour drive from my home. Nobody was manning reception when I eventually managed to find the car park and park up ( I hoped, for... more

Well, the car park is difficult to find, once we parked up we found the hotel and the reception was unmanned. We hung around for a bit and walked into the bar - one bloke sat there, said hello and went back to his paper. Eventually he got up and got us our key... Our room was basic, the top... more

We stayed at the Falcon recently as we were visiting nearby family, I must say we usually stay in a Marriott or a Devere, but being local to family we booked in. Yeah the rooms are basic..... but they are clean, and you get what you pay for after all, the staff were very welcoming and especially good with our... more

It is very much a typical pub/hotel combo, not enough attention paid to either function and as a result it fails. The rooms are bland and nondescript, faulty heating and poor lighting. Whilst relatively clean, a faulty TV, thin duvets (with no extra blanket/duvet ) and a grotty shower undo the price benefit, it may be cheap, but it doesn't... more

Five of us have just returned from a weeks stay. The rooms are very basic but clean. If you like watching a bit of tv forget it, very poor reception. Not all rooms have showers. Big problems with the plumbing system, for example the sink water when emptied came back up through the shower drain. Water collecting outside the kitchen... more

I lived in this lovely market town a decade or so ago and used the Falcon many times for accomadating guests who visited BridgnorthRound Table. I booked directly and paid the for 2 nights accomadation in what I can only described as utterly disgusting and the worse hotel room I have stayed in. There are no adjectives to describe the... more

This is typical of combination pub/hotels in the UK, in that it's the pub downstairs that brings in the real money. Themanagers give priority to the pub at the expense of the hotel and its guests. My room had a broken radiator (I had to borrow an electric heater from the desk) and the TV didn't work properly. The location... more

Worst experience of our lives, never again. Noise dreadful- floor actually vibrated, rough clientele, bedrooms flithy and not secure. Very Shabby decor. Very unprofessional staff who really had no interest in the customer more
