The positive things to say about this place is the friendly staff and the good Scottish breakfast they serve. This hotel is now part of the Oxford group, yet in spite of being part of a small chain, it has maintained its charm and its staff are friendly and very willing to help. I think the manager works almost 24/7. Food was great, service was excellent i would stay here again. more

Good place for an event, but not to stay for 3 nights as we did. No lift (elevator!) and no offer of help with our cases (3 flights of stairs) from the front desk. my parents got married in the dungeons in the tulloch castle.
