2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2013 NEW

I stayed here back in the mid 90's and was not impressed then and moved to another hotel in the area as I was working locally. I visited again in June this year as I was told that though the hotel's accommodation wasn't good the food was excellent. The service was very poor as I had ordered drinks for myself... More

Host unwelcoming, seats hard, paper tablecloth, restaurant cold, red wine freezing, food less than mediocre, staff couldn't find where the Chef (who had bailed out at 9pm) had stored the puddings - no cheeses available. All in all - a classy joint - NOT! Save your hard-earned dosh-grab a fish supper and buy yersel a tinnie - go home and enjoy!

We were staying up in Contin on Friday and Saturday 16th and 17th November 2012. Because it was winter there was a lack of restaurants and hotels open in Contin and Strathpeffer but we were recommended the Conon bridge Hotel which was about 6 miles down the road. Glad we went and ate there ! The bar looked full of... More

Spent two nights here recently whilst i ran the Loch Ness Marathon. Can't say that it is the greatest place i've ever stayed in. So i'll start with the pros: Pros: -Easy check in, good lunch menu, friendly staff members. Room cleaned with fresh towels laid out. Comfortable bed. Cons: -Dinner menu must of had haggis in everything, either that... More

I have just spent 3 weeks at the hotel, as i was working in Inverness, i have to say that the hotel was very comfortable, the room was spotless, fresh towels every day, staff here are very welcoming and friendly, especially iona and christine, the housekeepers who serve breakfast and service the rooms, they are an asset to this hotel,... Mould on ceiling and round the shower. The thermostat nob was missing from the shower valve. The full place is needing refurbished. If offered room 14 be aware of the noise from the beer garden is very loud. The price of fifty pounds per night is a rip off. The T.V.did not work properly.

Myself and my son stayed at the Conon Bridge hotel for two nights and enjoyed every minute, the beds were clean and comfy, food was excellent, breakfast was superb, porridge that sticks to your ribs and a full scottish with toast and juices washed down with tea or coffee sets you up for the day. The hotel is situated just... More

Shocking hotel for this day and age. On checking in (after waiting for the barmaid to serve all the locals in the public bar), I was asked for my credit card details in case I dared order some thing and put it on the room. When we came in later and ordered a drink, I was told to pay cash as... More

Another of the guests who stay at the hotel, are asked by staff if all is OK and they say yes, then retreat to their home and post a great deal of supposed negatives regarding the hotel. Regrettably in this day and age credit card details are necessary to safeguard our business. Our towels are pristine clean, fluffy, changed every... More
