A lovely old manse in an ideal location for touring the north of Scotland. You wake up to wonderful views across Cromarty Firth and enjoy hearty breakfast in the conservatory. New owners Nell & Ed worked very hard to ensure we had all we needed and surpassed our expectations. Good value and a very pleasant palce to stay. more

This was a real find! Great location on the shores of Cromarty Firth. Received a warm welcome, large comfortable room with all amenities, sea view. Very glad to have taken dining option as the three course meal was first class; locally smoked venison, tender lamb (never seen a portion size like this before!!), almond tart....delicious. We arrived early and even though we had not requested dinner, Paul, our host invited us for a beautiful Beef Curry that he had prepared. I highly recommend the breakfasts, but make sure you also request the dinner option. Paul & Lynn take great pride in deliciously cooking fresh local ingredients and will take requests ( I have an allergy... more

I had a ten day stay while on business, and could not have spent it in a more pleasant place. After a long drive from Ireland, I was met with a warm greeting followed by a very good three course meal. It wasn't hard to get though a days work after a hearty fry and fresh fruit. Every evening meals... more

My initial booking for 2 nights was extended to a 4 week business stay and I was simply delighted with the accommodation and cuisine provided. The peaceful location with close access to the beach provided me with a welcoming and relaxing base throughout my stay. The exceptionally high standard of quality foods on offer was the crowning glory more

The house itself is very spacious, with the lounge being an excellent place to relax beside the fire after a days work, etc... Bedrooms are also very roomy and clean. The main mention must go to the marvellous... more

We stayed there on the recommendation of friends at the end of April. The house is at the end of a very quiet dead-end road, right on the edge of the sea. The views are outstanding. Our hosts, Paul and Lin, were friendly, obliging and served the most wonderful food made with fresh local produce. At night the silence was... more

We had a wonderful stay at Kiltearn House in Sept. We were going to go with a tour guide for two days and our hosts graciously allowed us to keep our car there while we went with our guide. That was our first introduction to this wonderful bed and breakfast. They suggested we have dinner there when we got back... more
