A relic of a bygone age and desperate desperate need of a refurb. Everything about our stay was unpleasant. The room was dirty and falling apart. The only saving grace was that Lake Takapo was so beautiful, but we'd have had a better view of that if we'd slept in the car. more

i pre paid a nights accom at the godley hotel lake tekapo wen we got there we took one look at this run down hotel and kept on driving so i lost a nights acoom but it looked not good more

We were locked out, hotel front door is locked at 10.30pm, no explanation on how to get in, nothing!!!
