Stayed here for 3 days and the weather was not great. But that's why we chose a top hotel with a spa. The Il Melograno is a good Relais&Chateaux. It is certainly no bargain, but everything was as it should be, with no disappointments. The room was excellent – spacious, quiet, comfortable. The food in the restaurant was quite good, although very pricey. Stayed here early Sept/05 and what a disappointment! We were told by the locals that this property has seen better days when it opened years ago. As we approached the hotel, situated in the countryside, we immediately noticed the worn paint....and upkept appearance. The lobby was dark and dated.
