We went there in April so the swimming pool was still closed, but is seemed nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and always ready to give some advise for trips. The restaurant serves great food and the waiters were incredibly friendly. I would certainly go back! more

This hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere. The view of the sea and Mt. Etna is enchanting, but when we were there last week, there was really little peace and quiet to enjoy it. A marvellous architecture located on a spectacular position viewing the sea and the etna, - it's like a dreamland !!! The surroundings are not overcrowed by tourists, but typical sicilian, particularly the nearby fishing village Bruccoli is a peaceful, original and pure place. I knew that it did not augur well when our bags were dumped unceremoniously at the bottom of the flight of steps leading up to our suite. It only got worse. Much worse. The pool(the best thing about this hotel)is unmanned for a few hours over lunch when the staff has a siesta.No cool drinks then and no poolside meals... more

My wife flew in from the U.S. I came by Navy boat. We met at Venus. It was too brief of a stay. The hotel was 75 Euro's from the airport (Get a rental car with good gas mileage). It is in a remote location in Brucoli (Be prepared for two English channels and 15 Italian channels on tv). Go... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Venus in the summer 2002 while living in Sicily. We also ate dinner there on another occasion and both were fabulous experiences.
