This could be a wonderful hotel, but it is let down by a lack of staff and mediocre food. The setting is very impressive and tranquil. We stayed in an apartment, 2 minutes walk from the main building. The rooms were large, pleasant and spotlessly clean. The "kitchenette" is in a cupboard and comprised a 2 ring hob, fridge, sink... more

I just got back from Italy with my wife, from our honeymoon and we stayed in Venice, Badia Campoleone (BC) and then Rome. Our stay at BC was the highlight of our honeymoon! The hotel is excellent for a lovely romantic relaxing holiday! The grounds are absolutely stunning! It is so peaceful you can really relax! Hotel - Excellent Location... more

Myself and my other half got married here on 25th of June 08- We had a fantastic expierence at the Badia and cannot praise the place enough. the food was amazing and the setting is impossible to beat. But what really made the entire expierence was the staff at the Badia, special mention has to be made of Stefano, Dario,... more

We had booked a room for three nights in the middle of October and were unsure what to expect, after spending our time there we only wish we had spent our entire holiday at the Badia Di Campoleone. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the best suite in the the hotel because it was nearing the end of the season... more

The location is... more

Just back from 10 halcyon days in this classically renovated former monastry on a hillside about 15 minutes drive from Arrezo. The service is very very good and compliments the elegance of the setting, guest rooms have vaulted ceilings and beautiful frescoes. Gardens are idyllic. Only downside was the repetitive canned music that for some reason was a depressing catalogue... more

We booked this hotel through Expedia and received great rates. More favourable than if booking direct. This Hotel is fabulous! My husband, myself and our two girls would all love to go back. The gardens, the pool, the rooms and the food is 1st class, (although the menu was little pricey). The staff were always polite and very helpful. Ask... more

We stayed her for 4 nights in July. I was a bit apprehensive because there was little information from other travelers about the hotel. Needless to say that all disappeared when we arrived, the staff at the reception were very nice. We arrived mid afternoon so headed to the pool for a drink. The area where the pool is was... more

This passed weekend (15/09-18/09) we did spend our 20th wedding anniversary at Badia Di Campoleone. My wife and I were very pleased with the accomodation and services offered by this hotel. The room was spacious and luxurious, Although the weather was not as it should be for the time of the year, we enjoyed our stay very much. We had... more
