We spent 4 glorious days in the Casa dei Rassicurati in March 2004. Our goal was to *really* get away. We used Montecarlo as a base for day trips visiting Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Volterra. We wanted to stay in a quiet town, with restaurant and wine options without driving at night.
