We stayed in an apartment with our 1 year old in June '06 for 1 week. Restauant food was excellent. Pool was fab. Only negative is that access from Garda is couple of miles up a steep hill and we had to drive up and down to Garda if we chose to go out in the evenings. Not good for... more

As we had a 7 month old baby, we decided to stay in one of the apartments, with a so called "fully equipped" kitchen. This will be our 6th visit to the appartments of the Hotel Madrigale. A great hotel/appartment in a prime location. Yes it is located up the steep hill from Garda but the view is stunning. In my view car hire is essential. A great place for the independent travelller. more

Hotel Madrigale is a wonderful hotel located just outside the town of Garda on the Italian lakes.
