We've stayed in Cala'n Porter a couple of times before, but nor for a few years, so it was great to go back. The resort itself hasn't changed much in 4 years, many of the same restaurants are still going strong - the food at the salamader is better than I remember, and the tourist menu very good value. The cove remains as beautiful as ever, and there was a mixture of British and Spanish accents on the beach.
The Bahia Park apartments are a little bit further out from the centre than some of the other places you could stay, but it was hardly any inconvenience, about 10-15 minutes walk along the hilly coastal road toward the Xoroi caves, with a great view of the beach. Transfer from the airport was very quick - 20 minutes, and both of our 2-bed rooms apartments were ready when we got there at 10.30am. Each had a large central kitchen/dining/sitting area, with a well-furnished kitchen complete with combi oven microwave, kettle, toaster and hobs, and a good sized fridge-freezer...
