I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anything more than a few nights. It does, however, sit perched above a lovely cove. Our room was quite noisy, breakfast is basic, dinner is in a fairly soulless location. Too far for most people to walk to town. Definitely one for a night or two stopover and no more - especially if you... More

I only stayed, thank goodness, for one night in this hotel. My room was small, the bed narrow and the air-conditioning did not work. I noticed that one of the electric power points was hanging off the wall. I asked the night porter for an alarm call for 7.30am on the following morning and I never got it.

If you want charm and a relaxing stay, friendly staff, good food then this is for you. If you want a cold glass gin palace with no one talking to you then its not. Breakfast was so enjoyable up on the top of the hotel with a wonderful veiw. Room was spacious again with a great view and cool breeze... More

Impossible to stay in the pool (under dimensioned), sun shade broken (all) sun beds broken (most), wifi not working, VAT not included in the prices for the Bar (?). The parking is a nightmare (under dimensioned), breakfast time limited to 10.00 am (consequent crowd).... The high cost of this hotel does not justify 4 stars and possibly a glorious past... More

Had a fridge but this only worked when key card in the slot in the door so if out of room all day ...... Warm fridge! No kettle. Huge jacuzzi bath... More

This is my second stay after 7 yrs..Now under new ownership, The views are amazing, the gardens are lovely...the evening meal is very good. The staff are friendly and work hard. Not all the rooms have air conditioning, and ventilation in the bathrooms that I saw do not work, which means that there is a dampness about and a musty smell..... Well... my first reaction was that I had time-warped into some other era. The entry way was lush and full of plants only to enter the lobby and be transported back a few years (think 1970's?). We checked in, went to our first room -- an incredibly tiny room, two twin beds and a balcony sea view blocked by a... More

A very old sagging dame. The rooms were recently refurbished in a French country style, however the old TV sat on a black Ikea counter and totally destroyed the ambiance. The rooms are small with no air conditioning and you need it in August! The amenities were a bit better than the envelopes they some times give you, but just... More
