Hotel is an impeccably restored old manor house with lovely gardens and landscaping. It even had a wonderful and interesting "pigeon house" on the grounds that is now used as a wine cellar and can be used by guests for a quiet place to read or play cards. The room was beautifully furnished with a nice view accross the valley below. Resturant was excellent..we had a memorable meal. Staff was efficient and friendly. Overall the hotel was well deserving of it's 4 star rating. It is also just minutes from Santiago De Compostela and it's famous and stunning cathedral.

Our only complaint was that it was a little hard to find. It would help to have a sign on the main road (N-550) directing guest to the hotel. We drove past the small road to the hotel twice before we found it. more
