Apartholel Eliana is a basic apartment complex with limited hotel facilities. It has a rather institutional "holiday camp" feel, but the place is very clean and the pool is half Olympic size. In July and August the pool opens from 11 to 2.30 and 4.30 to 8.00. There is a life guard and you can't swim unless he is there. The gardens are plain but well kept. There is a tennis club next door. A cafeteria/bar by the pool serves simple food at lunch and dinner times. You can get snacks and drinks through the day.
The apartments are large split level with a good kitchen area. Utensils are basic. The rooms are cleaned and linen changed daily if you request it. The balconies get plenty of sun.
You need a car to get around. The shops are a 20 minute walk away but in the daytime that is a hot walk. Montesol metro station is a 10 minute walk and the trip to Valencia Xativa takes about 40 minutes. The new metro trains are air conditioned and fast.
