Husband and I stayed one night. First impression of the room was not so good. The room looked spartan with two very uncomfortable looking chairs, no airco (for what promised to be the hottest night of the year) and no coffee/tea. Very comfortable hotel on a nice location. Spacious room with terrace. The restaurant offers good food in a nice atmosphere. Spacious lounge. Several biking routes cross in the village, so it's easy to have wonderfull tours through the woods. Do not expect nightlife here. It's all quiet. more

Odoorn is a very quiet village in the beautiful province of Drente in the Hondsrug region. Excellent for biking but do not expect a bustling entertainment environment, which in fact is not why you visit this region. Lubbelinkhof is the top-hotel in the village. We stayed for 3 days in hotel Lubbelinkhof in Odoorn, 7 km from Emmen. We did visit a lot of hotels in Emmen the last years but this new hotel is great. Large rooms, a great restaurant and a great service. more
