Luckily we stayed here for next to nothing, otherwise I would have been compelled to write a terrible review. The place is run down and doesn't deserve it's 3 star rating. Wash basin not in the bathroom but in the room (nr. 13), bathroom not cleaned properely, broken tiles and damaged bath tub. No hot water during "rush hour" in the morning. Beautiful view however from your room. Very noisy, elevator broken (apparentely since the beginning of February). Breakfast sufficient, but 30 minutes before the end of breakfast food is taken away from the buffet. Surroundings of the hotel are beautiful if you're in to hiking or cycling, besides that there's not much to do. The small town of Noorbeek is probably better in the summertime, but still the Bon Repos hotel is not worth the money. Good if you can get it a very cheap rate and have low expectations, otherwise: find a different place to stay! Definitely not worth the 3 stars rating! more
