This is a very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, in the middle of the centre. The breakfast is very good. The restaurant is wonderful, we ate a suprise 5 course meal. we booked the rooms which said it could be a bit noisy, but we heard nothing. If you book off season, there is no noise at all. Go there...DO IT! more

Think Dutch Provincetown without all the gay people. Hotel Cooghen is located along a lively strip of shops, close to a number of clubs and restaurants and within walking distance of the beach. We went to Texel and we booked a hotel in "de Koog" The name of the hotel is Cooghen. It is a 3 star hotel with a good restaurant and excellent staff. The hotel is very new and it has clean rooms. Thank you for our perfect holiday. more
