We found Glassford Creek Farmstay when we were trying to experience a cattle ranch/Outback experience near Gladstone. After staying at Heron Island, we wanted to maximize our location without having to travel very far.

When I contacted Paul to schedule our stay, he was more than helpful and even offered to pick us up at the marina and drop us off at the train station around our stay. I remember thinking when we made our reservation, "Wow, they are really helpful!"

We learned more at Glassford about Australia than any other place we stayed in AU. Experiencing life with locals who can tell you about the land, the people and culture is a great experience.
