We drove up to the coromandel from Hamilton, after flying from Wellington. And we were hot and tired when we finally found the Celadon Motel nestled in New Zealand bush. We had a fantastic 2-night stay in the Celadon motel and regretted that we couldn't stay for longer. We had booked the Fern Lodge, but on arrival were informed that we had been upgraded to the Chalet for no extra cost. My wife and i simply loved the place...Ray who is the owner is a remarkable gentleman who is very helpful and a great conversationist. The cottage is quaint and cozy. dont forget to take tips from ray on where to visit or get around coromandel. Waiting to go back! more
