From the minute we arrived at the Rena Apartments we were made to feel so welcome. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week. Can't thank Rena,Helen,Deena and Alexia enough! Hope to return one day soon.

Rena apartments are too far from the main area of Gouves, are car is definately needed. The beach is a 20 minute walk away and not worth the visit. Have just returned from a holiday staying at the Club Lyda, I can only say thank god for the close proximity of the Rena, although self catering (we were all inclusive) you couldn't wish to meet more helpful and pleasant people (Rena, Helen and Deena). We have just got back from Gouves (Crete) and every evening we went to Rena's Bar/Restaurant either just for a drink or to eat. The owner Rena is so welcoming and Helen who serves you and also does the cooking was excellent, so friendly and her food delicious. Will definately be going back, hopefully next year.

Depends what you want from a holiday, but feeling a bit isolated wasn't for me. I had a car for the three weeks. Rena Apartments are set a few 100 yards the 'wrong' side of the main road through Gouves. Perfect for what I wanted! Peace, no children, out of the way. The owner Rena was lovely. On our last day my niece had an allergic reaction, Rena drove us to doctor. Herself and Dina couldn't do enough for us. Helen cooked our evening meals, delicious!!! I would definitely go back.
