I stayed at Praia do Sol for a week. It's a fairly cheap hotel with very good value for money. Nice staff and ordinary but very tidy rooms. The breakfast is OK. Close to shopping, the enormous beach and to many bus stops (abt. 30 min to central Lisbon)
