We stayed overnight and found the management to be friendly and helpful. The pub has trout fishing momentos and books which add to the atmosphere and it is worthwhile having a meal there as it is good value. The rooms are reasonably basic, but comfortable, warm and clean. Pets are allowed outside on the verandah. more
The rooms were adequate with the facilites one would expect. The location is good - near the river which is an easy walk across the lodge grounds. The restaurant was an amazing find! more
My husband and I happened to stumble on this establishment and were overly thrilled by this find. Found the staff to be helpful and quite professional. Luckily for us we arrived at the Bridge Fishing Lodge just in time to consume a decidable Jamaican influenced buffet; which is something I found out later is the origin of the Lady owner.... more
Good place to base yourself if fishing in Turangi. Tongariro River is right at your foot-steps. Rooms are simple , But good value for the money. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. more
