My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Decameron for 1 week, from September 27th to October 4th. We booked through Flight Center (last minute -2 weeks prior), for a Nolitours holiday. We flew WestJet direct both ways from Calgary Alberta. We paid just over 900 each total. The resort was not very busy, and the weather was hot and sunny... more

Myself and my boyfriend (both in our mid-20s) stayed here from the 13th-28th September. It was our first trip to Mexico and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We chose this part of Mexico as we wanted to visit somewhere less commercialised than places such as Cancun. The airport A note of caution - when you arrive at the airport, timeshare... more

We Have Been To The RDC A Few Times Now And Have Enjoyed Our Stay Everytime But The Extras (we got married there) Have Not Been Favorable, We Got Married In April And For Some Unknown Reason We Can't Get Our Paperwork To Prove It And We Can't Get A Response From The Hotel Or Guest Services So If You... more

My fiance and I spent five nights here for a beautiful vacation. Airfare, rooms, food and beverages for both of us were $1400. You really can't argue with prices like that. The hotel grounds were breathtaking and the room was comfortable and clean --with an amazing walk-in shower! The staff was extraordinarily friendly and many of the waiters remembered us... more

My boyfriend and I booked last minute through sellofvacations (two weeks prior) and it was the best thing we have ever done! We read a lot of the reviews on Royal Decameron and for the most part we were satisfied with way everyone had to say, so we said what the heck, why not, and we booked! We paid the... more

I like to write reviews based on my personal stays and I have inspected all sorts of hotels around the world. We paid $497 plus tax from Calgary and that was the going rate for anyone to book during selected dates for a 1 week stay. With this price and the other prices I have seen for this property who... more

Stayed at the RDC Sept 6th -13th. Check in, was a bit of a wait, but mango slushies were being served. Finding our room was a bit of an adventure as the lady at the check in indicated the wrong building in section 5 on the map. Oh well at least it was not raining. Weather was warm, +35 with... more

I have been a fan of De Camerons since being to Cartegena years ago-that was my first experience at an all inclusive. There were no buffets-just a la cartes to salivate over. I was surprised in 06 that it was this hotel rated a 4 star.....whatever was lacking to make it a 5 star was beyond me. Service was excellent... more

My sister and I stayed at the Royal Decameron resort the first week in September, 2008. We would never return there. Here is part of our experience: * THE BEACH: dirty beach, dirty water, many jellyfish in the water. I got stung on the foot in knee deep water. Many others got stung also. They have various colored flags to... more
