The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived, the food in the restaurant was ok. We skipped breakfast as we wanted to move on the next day (It's an extra charge on the room). Turns out the walls between rooms are pretty thin. We also enjoyed using the free wifi. more
I stayed here for three nights over Easter Weekend. The hotel is well situated and just off the A19 bypass around Selby. Stayed at the New Country Inns in Selby while at a wedding of a friend in March 2008. The hotel was very nice, clean and tidy. The room was a good size and everything worked as expected. The room had twin beds, full bathroom, storage space, desk with chair and a good size LCD TV with all freeview digital channels.... more
