We went out for a family meal here one sunday in October. It was worth every penny. My young son was well looked after. The facilites were very clean. A happy relaxed atmoshere would recommend for special family dinners. more

I have been to The royal arms four or five times due to my family liking the place so much, everytime there is a family birthday or get together we usually end up in the restaurant here. They like it because of the friendly owners and staff and the really vibrant and laid back atmosphere that is always present in the... more

Food is very good, I would say pricey for the quality - but the service was poor - three hours for eight people to have a two course meal - we had been there that long we nearly had to start again more

Stayed here for a one night getaway for an early anniversary pressie, after visiting for lunch a few weeks previously. We cant fault the location, the service, staff or the food. We were going to book the £99 deal - room with 2 course a la carte meal; however, we opted for a suite for £95 and to pay for... more

I recently went to the royal arms with a friend. I had rare sirloin steak which was delicious, just right. My companion had the mushrooms and the red snapper - she said the sauce with the fish was beautiful but sadly I didn't get a look in to taste for myself. The bread and butter pudding really was home made... more

I have to commend the staff on our welcome and orientation. Our room was clean and married well a traditional style soft furnishings with all the contemporary accesories one would come to expect... more

Dont bother. If you want value for money, you wont get it here.Cheap cuts of meat at ridiculouse prices. We had to go and find a chippy as we were all so hungry. Told the staff that we would never go back. more

I can't comment on the accommodation but if you're looking for somewhere to stay with great food you won't find it at the Royal Arms. My husband and I went for a meal which we can honestly say was the worst we have ever experienced at the most extortionate price. Absolutely horrendous, avoid it like the plague. more

A pub with accommodation near Hinckley, but well out in the sticks. Nice and peaceful. Stayed for business reasons and whilst the room was spartan, in a single storey block to the rear of the pub, it was clean and presentable. The pub offererd a cosy atmosphere, with good beer (real ale) and food which was extremely high quality for... more
