Unfortunately we were very dissapointed with our stay in November, and it was all of 4 hours before we checked out. Dark, dark room with the ceiling coming in on top of us. Mould in the shower tray. Lovely hotel with rooms were of a very high standard as you would expect for a 5 * hotel. However....pool area was spacious but not cleaned too often. We’ve been to Elba Palace Golf 3 times already and planning to go back there this year again. It’s a great hotel. The staff are very friendly and the food is great. The hotel is small so you can have your privacy there. It is definitely 5 star hotel. Can only recommend it. more

Swimming pool being completely re-furbished in Feb 2005. Golf course average. Roof on walkways leak if it rains. Air conditioning units not working as heaters in February--not known when they would be fixed. Heaters in restaurant for diners. They will lend you a fan heater for your room if you are cool!
